Why should you verify the correct placards are displayed and match the cargo before a trip, in addition to checking the tank itself?

Pick an answer

1. Placards inform others and responders of what is being carried, and incorrect ones could mislead an emergency response
2. Placard accuracy only matters for interstate trips, not local deliveries that stay within one city, even though it runs against what the CDL manual actually says
3. Placards are purely decorative and unrelated to the cargo carried
4. Placards only need checking if the tank is completely full
